If you came upon the scene of a terrible highway accident just after
the ambulances arrived, would you stop to watch? Assume that your
presence would neither help nor hinder the rescuers.
Absolutely
not. In fact, I'd be the driver who is tailgating the idiot in front of
me who is slowing down to see if there's a severed head. I'd be
screaming from the safety of my car for the person in front of me to
keep moving, that their idiotic need to be nosy is going to cause a
second accident. The gawkers are so irritating.
