What life lesson did you learn the hard way?
I've learned that your dream job doesn't always turn out to be so dreamy. But I've also learned that unexpected situations can lead you to places you never thought you would be, and those places can become everything you never knew you always wanted.

ReplyDeletei used to hear someone tell stories about people in their lives and i would say something like "not me! i would never put up with that. that, my friend is grounds for dismissal" or something like that.
later in life, i have had to "put up" with similar and sometimes identical situations from people i love and that love me back. its really easy to judge someone that has hurt you, but when you step back to realize where it comes from and how they are hurting themselves its a lot easier to offer grace and compassion.
